About The Position

Pirate Ship is seeking an exceptional Contract Senior Recruiter, referred to internally as a Contract Senior Pirate Scout, for a limited duration fixed 12-month contract. Requirements

  • At least 5+ years of in-house corporate recruiting experience driving end-to-end recruiting within a high-tech or high-growth industry.
  • Experience building and scaling creative teams across design, copy, and brand disciplines.
  • Proven track record of recruiting from a diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging lens.
  • Hands-on experience with applicant tracking systems, preferably Greenhouse, including managing candidate pipelines, interview coordination, reporting, and recruiting workflows.
  • Ability to work independently and handle multiple projects simultaneously in a rapidly changing environment.
  • Comfortable in a remote environment with frequent changes.

Responsibilities

  • Hunt down talent, share the company story, and recruit individuals to join the company.
  • Understand team dynamics and their contribution to company success.
  • Own recruiting and employee selection efforts for all roles and levels.
  • Report to the Director of Pirate Experience and partner with Senior Leadership to understand hiring objectives and develop plans to meet goals with quality and timely results.
  • Manage full-cycle recruiting by creating and executing unique and effective sourcing strategies and techniques.
  • Generate a healthy pipeline of high-quality candidates through recruitment initiatives such as branding, events, sourcing, and referrals, utilizing various online channels.
  • Stay updated on new recruitment trends and technologies to keep the recruitment process ahead of the curve.
  • Identify, prescreen, and evaluate both passive and active candidates.
  • Manage candidates throughout the process and provide a positive candidate experience.
  • Build strong relationships with team leaders and serve as a talent partner.
  • Develop deep business knowledge of Pirate Ship’s organization and the markets it serves.
  • Partner with HR in areas of organizational training and development, compensation, and compliance.
  • Maintain key recruiting metrics and analyze recruiting trends to maintain a healthy talent pipeline and drive effective hiring decisions.
  • Be comfortable in an environment with constant change.
  • Work remotely and connect with team members throughout the day via chat, voice, and video.
  • Share background, experience, and interests to enhance the company culture.
