About The Position

The Engineer VII - Senior Program Manager will use creativity, foresight, and mature judgment in anticipating and solving unprecedented problems. They will make decisions and recommendations that are authoritative and have an important impact on extensive organizational activities. In addition, the Engineer VII - Senior Program Manager will set priorities and reconciles directions from competing interests, while working on programs with complex features. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering from an ABET/EAC accredited program
  • Proficient with electronic communications including email and text as well as standard office applications (i.e., Microsoft Office Suite)
  • Exceptional oral and written communication skills
  • Skills in persuasion and negotiation of critical issues

Nice To Haves

  • Professional Engineer (PE), equivalent, or authorization of CLPO
  • Member of professional practice organization, national board member or officer, recognized expert on statewide activity, resource for national activities and organization

Responsibilities

  • Lead a major program team for the organization
  • Proficient with electronic communications including email and text as well as standard office applications (i.e., Microsoft Office Suite)
  • Advanced oral and written communication skills
  • Lead project meetings and makes presentations
  • Represent the organization and maintain liaison with individuals and related organizations
  • This position may require travel. On occasion travel to RailPros headquarters, field offices or client offices, work sites and other project related locations may be required
  • Contribute to a positive, inclusive, and respectful workplace culture, free from behaviors that undermine morale, productivity, or organizational values
  • Uphold the organization’s standards of integrity, accountability, and respect in all duties and interactions
