Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in engineering required
• 5+ years of related engineering experience of which 2+ years of project management and/or leading teams experience
• Knowledgeable in Microsoft Office 360 tools, including Sharepoint, Teams, Excel, Word, and Powerpoint
• Ability to provide work direction to work teams to improve efficiency, effectiveness and collaboration
• Establish a team environment with open communication, identifying problems and establishing resolutions
• Promote the sharing of knowledge to strengthen technical depth of staff, ensure adaptable operational support, and enable process improvements

Nice To Haves

• Experience with Atlassian Suite (Jira, Confluence) for backlog management, progress tracking and reporting is preferred

Responsibilities

• Lead teams to develop and design New Product Introduction products following a stage-gate process from Discover, through Develop and Deploy and launch in a timely manner
• Drive, coordinate and maintain project schedules
• Lead and partner with engineers and designers related to product design activities
• Direct outside activities such as regulatory or other third-party testing
• Lead cross-functional teams acting as the central point of coordination of Project Management, Engineering, Operations, Supply, ISC, Quality and Compliance. This can also cover both branded platform products, and products engineered for specific customer application
• Manage a portfolio of projects to ensure projects are on-track and escalate any project roadblocks
• Identify, track and mitigate risks early through structured risk planning and mitigation strategies
• Track Project Portfolio KPI’s
• Work to continuously improve project and product development processes in order to reduce product development cycle time
