Requirements

  • Strong technical foundation with hands-on experience solving complex challenges in robotic or advanced electromechanical systems.
  • 5+ years of experience supporting, testing, or developing complex electromechanical systems in production, manufacturing, R&D, or laboratory environments.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently, manage competing priorities, and drive tasks to completion in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proven success contributing to innovative R&D programs and cross-functional product development teams.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to clearly communicate technical concepts to diverse audiences.
  • Collaborative team player who thrives in cross-functional environments and values partnership, innovation, and continuous learning.

Responsibilities

  • Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair issues across a diverse fleet of R&D robotic and electromechanical systems to support ongoing development activities.
  • Perform hands-on testing and validation of complex electro-mechanical systems, ensuring reliability, functionality, and performance.
  • Execute software testing, system updates, and firmware installations within Ubuntu/Linux environments.
  • Partner closely with R&D engineers to support hardware upgrades, prototype builds, and development system enhancements.
  • Build strong working relationships across engineering and technician teams through clear communication, collaboration, and a solutions-oriented mindset.
