Requirements

  • Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Mathematics, Finance or a related field
  • two (2) years of post-baccalaureate experience as a Quantitative Researcher or in a related position.
  • Statistical inference, time-series econometrics
  • Data/ML libraries, including NumPy, pandas, SciPy, statsmodels, and scikit-learn
  • knowledge of portfolio theory
  • experience with data visualization using JupyterLab.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the design, development, and implementation of advanced quantitative models and algorithms to support trading strategies across various asset classes.
  • Analyze large and complex datasets to identify patterns, trends, and opportunities for alpha generation.
  • Conduct thorough testing and validation of quantitative models to ensure accuracy, robustness, and reliability under various market conditions.
  • Collaborate with risk management teams to assess and mitigate risks associated with quantitative models and trading strategies.
  • Work closely with technology teams to integrate quantitative models into trading systems and platforms, ensuring seamless execution and performance.
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to junior researchers and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including traders, developers, and risk managers.
  • Position supervises 1 Junior Quantitative Researcher.
