Based on Customer requirements, performs and documents inspection operations on product throughout the manufacturing process.

Requirements

Computer literate, with a working knowledge of Word, Excel, Outlook
Hands on experience using video system and other manual inspection tools
Ability to apply correct inspection methods and techniques to perform inspection in a timely manner
Ability to work with machinist to maximize the quality of products manufactured and resolve quality related issues during the first article and in-process inspection
Must be knowledgeable and proficient in Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing.
Must be familiar with Mil-Specs and customer specifications
Detail-orientation, accuracy, organizational and interpersonal skills
Demonstrate professional demeanor in all aspects of the business
Effective multi-tasking abilities
Strong written and oral communication skills to support business needs in an English-speaking environment
Good programing skills in Zeiss CMM using Calypso software.
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, blueprints, and procedure manuals.
Ability to speak effectively with employees of the organization and write routine reports and correspondences.
Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) in business or Quality Systems desirable; and/or 5 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience

Responsibilities

Perform receiving inspection, first article inspection, in-process inspection, and final inspection
Create NCR on discrepant material/parts
Run and program the CMM’s, Experience with Zeiss O-inspect CMM's.
Make sure all QA equipment is properly maintained and calibrated
