About The Position

Join Medtronic’s North Haven manufacturing team as a Senior Quality Engineer. In this technical leadership role, you will help ensure product quality and process excellence across multiple product families. You will drive improvements, support compliance, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to advance manufacturing operations in a collaborative environment that supports professional growth and development.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
At least 7 years of manufacturing engineering experience in the medical device industry or another regulated industry.
Deep expertise in manufacturing processes, process validation, and quality systems.
Proven track record in root cause investigation, process improvement, and cross-functional collaboration.
Strong leadership, problem-solving, project management, and technical communication skills.

Nice To Haves

Experience with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, CAPA, and PFMEA methodologies.
Familiarity with medical device quality systems and regulatory frameworks.

Responsibilities

Provide technical leadership and hands-on support to manufacturing teams for daily operations and troubleshooting.
Lead initiatives to maintain and improve product quality, reduce manufacturing costs, and optimize processes.
Collaborate with Production, Operations, Supplier Quality, and Engineering teams to investigate manufacturing issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions.
Drive continuous improvement projects supporting operational excellence, process development, and equipment upgrades.
Oversee process validation activities to ensure robust and compliant manufacturing methods.
Ensure activities adhere to safety, regulatory, and quality requirements.
Manage cross-functional projects, ensuring timely execution and measurable results.
