As a Senior Quality Engineer, you will be a transformer driving change in a multidisciplinary squad, leading a team of developers to build and implement large-scale applications involving APIs and UIs. This role is both hands-on and strategic, requiring deep dives into code to define system behavior and establishing technical roadmaps for quality and scalable software solutions. The team utilizes both Java and Microsoft technologies. You will also engage directly with senior leadership to align solutions with business objectives. Requirements

Experience in leading a team of developers
Proficiency in building and implementing large scale applications involving APIs and UIs
Ability to dive deep into code to define system behavior
Experience in establishing technical roadmaps
Proficiency in Java technologies
Proficiency in Microsoft technologies
Expertise in overseeing and coordinating functional and automated testing activities
Ability to lead and mentor Engineers and Senior Engineers
Experience in defining overall automation and functional testing strategy
Knowledge of appropriate testing methodologies and tools
Ability to plan and execute test strategies across multiple projects
Experience in driving test automation initiatives
Ability to architect and develop automation frameworks
Advocacy for best practices and innovative testing techniques in test automation
Experience in collaborating with development teams and AVPs
Ability to review and improve automation testing processes
Skill in analyzing testing metrics and reports
Experience in defect management and escalation processes

Responsibilities

Oversee and coordinate both functional and automated testing activities, addressing complex issues more effectively than Senior Engineers
Lead and mentor a team of Engineers and Senior Engineers by providing technical guidance and support, distributing tasks, and evaluating performance
Contribute to defining the overall automation and functional testing strategy while selecting appropriate testing methodologies and tools
Plan and execute test strategies across multiple projects, ensuring comprehensive test coverage and performing regression testing
Drive test automation initiatives by architecting and developing automation frameworks
Advocate for best practices and innovative testing techniques, particularly in test automation
Collaborate with development teams and AVPs to define and implement effective testing strategies, estimate testing efforts, and ensure timely project deliveries
Review and improve the automation testing process to enhance both efficiency and effectiveness
Analyze testing metrics and reports to ensure the team meets key performance indicators
Oversee defect management and escalation processes to ensure timely resolution
