About The Position

We’re hiring Quality Engineers to join The Exclusive Collective’s shared Quality Engineering team, supporting Inspirato (ISPO), Exclusive Resorts, and onefinestay. We’re seeking smart, analytical, collaborative team members with a passion for testing, automation, and supporting quality solutions that provide exceptional business value across the Collective’s luxury travel platforms. The role supports both manual and automated testing using tools such as Playwright, Claude, and Cursor.

Requirements

• Proficient in analytical and methodical troubleshooting, with a talent for defect isolation and clear reporting to facilitate prompt resolution.
• Skilled in white box testing, including SQL, GraphQL, and Salesforce, and experience with API testing in Postman and automated testing tools such as Playwright and Selenium, plus manual testing with detailed test plan creation.
• Hands-on experience with AI-augmented QA tooling (AI-assisted test/script generation, self-healing automation, LLM-assisted test data and defect triage) to speed up coverage and cut maintenance.
• Capable of managing QA prioritization and production across all teams effectively.
• Familiarity with browser testing, performance evaluation, and debugging, encompassing handling of 200, 404, and 500 return codes, including page-speed and Core Web Vitals impacts on SEO.
• Demonstrated ability as a quick learner and passionate problem solver.
• Adaptable and thoughtful approach with a positive can-do attitude.
• Meticulous attention to detail, coupled with creativity, patience, and positivity.
• Strong organizational skills, capable of both collaborative and independent work, with effective prioritization abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, characterized by active listening and valuable team contributions.
• Proficiency in technical documentation using Confluence.
• Strong working proficiency with GitHub, Bitbucket, and Jira for version control, code review, and defect tracking.
• Exceptional time management skills.
• 3+ years of experience implementing test cases using automated testing tools
• Ability to write SQL statements to create, read, update, and delete data in relational databases
• 3+ years of experience translating business requirements into functional test cases, executing test cases, identifying defects, and facilitating issue resolution
• Understanding of functional and non-functional requirements and techniques used to define and measure associated quality
• Experience with a variety of modern browsers, devices, and platforms, and with applications hosted on AWS and Azure cloud environments
• Prior experience creating scripts or applications with languages and frameworks such as Python, TypeScript, Node.js, and React/Next.js, plus some C#
• Comfortable evaluating and piloting emerging AI/automation tools without sacrificing reliable, auditable test coverage.

Responsibilities

• Ensure delivery of high-quality solutions that align with business needs by developing and executing functional and regression test cases
• Collaborate with team members to resolve defects and improve delivered functionality
• Develop and implement test automation strategy, targeted at improving ability to quickly identify and address defects commonly found in regression testing.
• Support release activities — regression sign-off, release validation, and post-deploy verification — in partnership with the team that owns release engineering.
• Apply AI-assisted testing tools — AI-generated test cases, self-healing scripts, visual regression detection — to expand coverage and catch defects earlier.
• Be the voice of the customer by effectively escalating production issues and suggesting product improvements
• Leverage deep knowledge of our constantly evolving product suite to ensure that user feedback flows to product managers and developers, fueling innovation
• Investigate and resolve customer support requests, including system administration, defect analysis, and resolution
• Other duties as assigned.
