About The Position

The Senior Quality Engineer is part of Hilton’s in-house Technology team and the Quality Release Engineering team, reporting to the Senior Manager Quality Engineering. The role supports web and mobile application quality initiatives, accessibility compliance, test automation enhancements, and AI-enabled quality engineering solutions to deliver digital experiences for Hilton guests and Team Members. The position is hybrid and requires proximity to the Dallas, Texas, or Memphis, Tennessee, office. Travel may be required up to 10%.

Requirements

At least three years of professional work experience in Technology, Quality Engineering, Software Testing, or a related field.
Experience executing software testing activities across multiple phases of the software development lifecycle.
Experience identifying software defects, quality risks, and opportunities for process improvement.
Experience using accessibility testing tools such as AXE and JAWS.
Ability to work in a hybrid role near the Memphis or Dallas office location.

Nice To Haves

Bachelor’s degree, or an associate degree plus at least six years of Technology-related experience, or a high school diploma/GED plus at least 12 years of Technology-related experience.
At least five years of professional experience in Technology, Quality Engineering, Software Testing, or a related field.
Experience using automated testing tools such as Playwright or Cypress.
Experience working with CI/CD pipelines and interpreting test execution results.
Experience mentoring or guiding less experienced testers.
Experience using or configuring AI-assisted tools to improve testing workflows, test generation, or quality engineering activities.
Interest in evaluating emerging AI-enabled engineering approaches and contributing to quality engineering best practices.

Responsibilities

Design, execute, and maintain manual test scripts and testing strategies for web and mobile applications, validating new and existing functionality throughout the software development lifecycle.
Perform automated testing and accessibility testing; identify defects and quality risks; and support compliance with established quality processes and standards.
Collaborate with engineers, product teams, and business partners to improve product quality, promote testability during design and development, and identify opportunities to enhance automation.
Use AI-assisted tools and AI-enabled quality engineering techniques to accelerate test creation, support debugging and risk analysis, improve code quality, and increase efficiency throughout the software development lifecycle.
Partner with software engineers, product teams, and business stakeholders to deliver high-quality digital experiences across web, mobile, and Team Member platforms.
Work with cross-functional teams to support accessibility compliance and promote quality throughout the development lifecycle.
Support the execution and continuous improvement of testing strategies for web and mobile applications, including manual, automated, and accessibility testing.
Contribute to Hilton’s AI-enhanced quality engineering practices through AI-assisted testing and quality engineering tools.
