About The Position

Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) is hiring a Senior Quality Engineer to join its team in Berkeley, Missouri. The role leads integration of contractual and Boeing Quality Management System requirements into proposals, program processes, and documentation, and provides interpretation of complex requirements. It develops quality metrics and certification plans for large programs, establishes quality criteria for supplier selection, and leads reviews to incorporate quality attributes into product designs. The engineer develops methods for analysis, testing, and audits to ensure manufacturing and test readiness; supports development of standards and non-conformance repairs; analyzes non-conformance trends and corrective-action effectiveness; and develops and implements corrective actions. The position also uses benchmarking and advanced analysis to verify process capability. The role works under minimal direction and may require travel up to 10% of the time.

Candidates must meet U.S. export-control requirements as a U.S. Person and be able to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance; an interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance is required post-start. Boeing will not sponsor employment visas. The position is not contingent upon program award and is not safety sensitive. Candidates must also satisfy the Company's Conflict of Interest assessment process.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology (including manufacturing engineering technology), chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science.
• At least 5 years of experience in Quality Management Systems (QMS).
• At least 5 years of experience in Root Cause Corrective Action (RCCA) and Corrective Action Preventive Action (CAPA).
• At least 5 years of Quality Inspection experience, including First Article Inspection (FAI).
• At least 5 years of experience working with non-conformance (NCR) processes.
• Must meet U.S. export-control compliance requirements as a U.S. Person.
• Must be able to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance; interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance is required post-start.
• Must satisfy the Company's Conflict of Interest assessment process.

Nice To Haves

• Certified Quality Manager or Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) certification.
• At least 5 years of experience in a manufacturing Quality Engineering role.

Responsibilities
