About The Position

The Senior Quality Engineer ensures products and processes meet quality standards by developing and implementing quality control systems, monitoring production, conducting tests, analyzing data for defects, and creating solutions to improve processes. They conduct audits, analyze root causes of failures, ensure regulatory compliance, and train staff to maintain high quality in products and services. This role has the potential for growth and development into a future manager position for the successful candidate.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering
4+ years of quality experience in a manufacturing environment
Strong analytical, communication, and problem‑solving skills

Nice To Haves

Experience with Six Sigma, Lean, ISO 9001, FMEA, and control plans preferred
Machining or manufacturing experience preferred

Responsibilities

Develop & Implement Quality Standards: Create, maintain, and improve quality standards and implement quality control processes and systems.
Monitoring & Testing: Monitor manufacturing processes and test materials, equipment, and final products to ensure they meet specifications.
Data Analysis & Reporting: Analyze quality data, identify trends, generate reports on malfunctions, and conduct root cause analyses for defective products.
Process Improvement: Identify areas for improvement in production processes and implement solutions to enhance product quality and reliability.
Auditing & Compliance: Conduct quality audits of processes and products and ensure compliance with relevant safety regulations and industry standards.
Collaboration & Communication: Work collaboratively with engineering, production, and management teams to address quality issues and implement solutions.
Documentation & Training: Create and maintain quality assurance documentation, standard operating procedures, and provide training to staff on quality control procedures.
