About The Position

We are looking for a Senior Quality Engineer who will work closely with Project Managers, Product Owners, Business Analysts & Software Developers in an agile team to ensure the development of high-quality, low-defect applications.

Requirements

  • Utilize an automation test framework of web-based applications
  • Utilize Java for testing frameworks like Junit, TestNG, selenium driver
  • Test APIs using XML and JSON
  • Display a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Experience with Jira, Confluence, Git, Qtest, Cucumber and Jenkins
  • Experience with Azure Data Services, REST APIs, sFTP, Apache Tomcat, LDAP, XML/JSON data formats
  • Knowledge of Kubernetes and docker containers
  • Effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment and conduct research into software-related issues and products

Responsibilities

  • Analyze business and design requirements and create automated test plan & strategy using risk-based approach
  • Maintain open communications channels with all project’s stakeholders to ensure the applications are at the highest possible level of quality
  • Perform automated testing script creation and maintenance
  • Execute Load-Test and Performance testing duties
  • Run and maintain test automation scripts for regression testing
  • Ensure that code meets security benchmarks by reviewing and signing off on reports
  • Participate in architectural and software design reviews to understand the technical flows and testing scope
