About The Position

We are seeking an experienced and driven Senior Quality Engineer to lead and enhance our quality systems across product development, manufacturing, and supplier management. The Senior Quality Engineer will be responsible for ensuring that our products meet the highest standards of reliability, compliance, and performance while supporting continuous improvement initiatives throughout the organization. This role requires a strong technical background in electronics or manufacturing environments, combined with expertise in quality systems, root cause analysis, and ERP-driven process control. The ideal candidate is hands-on, analytical, and proactive in preventing defects while building scalable quality processes in a fast-paced, high-growth clean-tech environment. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of progressive experience in quality engineering within manufacturing, electronics, or hi-tech industries.
  • Strong experience with quality tools and methodologies (e.g., 8D, FMEA, SPC, Control Plans, Fishbone, 5 Whys).
  • Proven experience in supplier quality management and manufacturing process validation.
  • Proficiency in MS Business Central (Dynamics 365 Business Central) for quality tracking, reporting, and ERP-driven process management is required.
  • Experience with ERP systems and quality data analysis tools.
  • Strong understanding of product lifecycle management and change control processes.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a cross-functional environment.
  • High level of integrity and commitment to quality excellence.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with ISO-based quality systems or similar frameworks is an asset.
  • Professional certifications (e.g., ASQ CQE) are a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Lead quality assurance and quality control activities across product development and production.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain quality management systems, procedures, and documentation.
  • Drive root cause analysis (RCA), corrective and preventive actions (CAPA), and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Monitor product performance metrics, failure trends, and field returns to identify systemic issues and implement improvements.
  • Collaborate closely with engineering, manufacturing, and supply chain teams to ensure quality is built into product design and processes.
  • Review and approve engineering change orders (ECOs) and ensure proper quality validation.
  • Establish and maintain incoming inspection processes and supplier quality programs.
  • Conduct supplier audits and evaluate supplier performance, ensuring compliance with quality standards and contractual requirements.
  • Develop and track key quality KPIs (e.g., yield, defect rates, RMA rates, cost of poor quality).
  • Utilize MS Business Central to track quality data, manage non-conformances, support traceability, and improve process visibility.
  • Support regulatory and compliance requirements, including product certifications and industry standards where applicable.
  • Prepare documentation and support internal and external audits.
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to junior engineers and cross-functional teams on quality best practices.
  • Lead initiatives to improve product reliability, reduce scrap/rework, and enhance customer satisfaction.
