  • Create and process FAI, NCR, and SCAR documentation.
  • Support vendor qualifications, audits, and close loop communications to enhance vendor service levels.
  • Maintain calibration records, control plans, and inspection standard work for all production processes.
  • Ensure compliance with transformer standards such as IEEE, ANSI, and UL.
  • Perform and sign off Incoming Quality Control (IQC), In-Process Quality Control (IPQC), and Outgoing Quality Control (OQC) inspections.
  • Plan and execute Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT), including AQL-based sampling plans and hands-on test witnessing.

  • Run supplier qualification and evaluation processes.
  • Conduct supplier audits and drive corrective actions (SCAR) to closure.
  • Inspect incoming materials and sub-assemblies against spec at IQC.
  • Collaborate with supply chain and procurement to drive vendor improvements.
  • Execute inspections and tests directly on the floor across IQC/IPQC/FAT/OQC.
  • Investigate quality issues at the point of occurrence and write up NCRs.
  • Work directly with Engineering, Manufacturing, and Supply Chain to close out non-conformances.
  • Perform root cause analysis using tools (8D, Fishbone, 5 Whys).
  • Execute Lean/Six Sigma initiatives to reduce defects and waste.
  • Track and report KPIs (ie. defects, rework, customer complaints, FPY, FAT first-pass yield).
  • Handle customer complaints and warranty claims.
