About The Position

InSight Manufacturing Services is looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Quality Control Inspector to join our team! If you have a strong background in manufacturing inspection, enjoy working with precision measurement equipment, and take pride in producing quality work, we'd love to hear from you. As a Senior Quality Control Inspector, you'll help ensure our raw materials, machined parts, fabricated components, and finished assemblies meet drawing, customer, and quality requirements.

Requirements

Experience reading and interpreting engineering drawings and tolerances
Experience using precision inspection and measuring equipment
CMM and PC-DMIS experience
Strong math and measurement skills
Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
Strong organizational and time-management skills
Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a manufacturing environment

First Article Inspection (FAI/AS9102)
Calibration or measurement systems

Responsibilities

Perform receiving, in-process, First Article, and final inspections
Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, specifications, dimensions, and tolerances
Use calipers, micrometers, height gauges, pin gauges, comparators, and other precision measuring equipment
Set up parts and operate Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM)
Use PC-DMIS to run established CMM programs, evaluate results, and generate reports
Accurately document inspection and test results
Identify and document nonconforming products or materials
Assist with corrective actions and quality investigations
Verify inspection equipment is properly calibrated and maintained
Support our Quality Management System (QMS) and internal audit processes
Communicate quality concerns and recurring issues to management
