Senior Quality Assurance Engineer
About The Position
Diverse Agile Solutions is seeking a Senior Quality Assurance Engineer to support the Federal Reserve Board’s Office of the Secretary (OSEC) Technology Optimization Program (TOP). The role works with OSEC project management and development teams on a large-scale application development effort. The engineer will help ensure user story acceptance criteria are met, develop and execute application test cases, and create clear support materials for end users. The role requires working independently in an Agile environment and communicating effectively with technical and business stakeholders. The position is a contract role running from January 2, 2027, through December 31, 2027. Work is onsite for the first three months, followed by a hybrid schedule. U.S. citizenship is required. The proposed annual salary range is $97,344–$104,832.
Requirements
- At least 7 years of system testing experience across front-end and back-end applications.
- Experience testing Angular applications, APIs, and SQL Server.
- Experience working with clients to clarify requirements and create tests based on those requirements.
- Strong understanding of testing types and the ability to test throughout all phases of development.
- Experience with Azure DevOps.
- Ability to work independently in an Agile environment.
- Experience creating clear user support documentation and training.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Technical knowledge of Microsoft Office 365, Active Directory, Microsoft Teams, and SharePoint Online.
- U.S. citizenship.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with OSEC stakeholders to understand requirements and confirm acceptance criteria.
- Create, maintain, and execute test scripts and test cases throughout development.
- Perform front-end and back-end system testing, including Angular, APIs, and SQL Server.
- Document defects, test results, user processes, and requirements accurately and concisely.
- Develop straightforward end-user support documentation and training materials.
- Communicate testing status, findings, and risks clearly to project stakeholders.
- Work with Azure DevOps and Microsoft 365 collaboration tools.
