About The Position

The Senior Quality Analyst Engineer is responsible for maintaining our Quality Automation testing frameworks and subject matter expertise. This individual is versed in developing automation test suites that focus on both client and backend solutions. Likewise, the individual is a leader within our testing practice and has subject matter expertise and influence over the technology components that make up our end-to-end testing practices. The individual also serves as a member of a development team and is capable of certifying ongoing delivery.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university, a degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field preferred
5+ years of experience of QA Automation experience preferred
Advanced knowledge of SQL language, Windows Operating Systems, and basic Web Applications preferred
Advanced understanding of software testing methods and knowledge of software development life-cycle
Experience automating functional test scripts leveraging software development tools and languages

Nice To Haves

2+ years’ experience in Retail/Back Office/Point of Sale testing is preferred

Responsibilities

Leads the evaluation and testing of new or modified software programs and deployment procedures to verify that programs are functioning according to user requirements.
Serves as a lead architect in the designs and development of test plans, scripts, and processes to validate systems and software.
Works with the functional leader to assess current processes and provides solutions to ensure the most efficient and effective systems and software.
Provides leadership as well as technical and functional direction to team members throughout all aspects of the project lifecycle.
Represents the QA function in project meetings and project reporting.
Teams with internal customers to obtain the necessary project business requirements.
Communicates requirements and metrics to team members and ensures project goals are aligning with the established guidelines.
Partners with various IS developers to proactively resolve software issues during development phases.
Serves as a direct point of contact for internal software user issues; provides timely responses/solutions to problems as needed.
Mentors junior Quality Assurance Engineers ensuring they are following best practices and are equipped to navigate Develops Automation Platforms that provide continuous regression and sanity testing of various front-end and backend applications
Develop and test automation strategy for the QA function with a focus on the development of sustainable and maintainable automation frameworks
Designs and executes test plan based on the specification and use cases, identifies issues on complex test objects, analyzes test results, and presents findings
Maintains an overall awareness of our testing footprint and recommends solutions where needed.
