About The Position

As a Senior QA Engineer at Ness, you will help ensure software quality during the development of new features across software modules. You will build and maintain test automation, develop testing strategies, design and execute test plans and cases, and conduct manual cross-module integration testing. The role also involves identifying and reporting defects, validating fixes, and continually improving testing processes. Requirements

At least 5 years of work experience as a Test Automation Engineer in Iași, Romania.
Experience with automated testing tools such as Playwright or Cypress.
Practical experience in Java.
Experience with manual testing, test strategies, and test plans.
Strong knowledge of software quality assurance methodologies.
High quality awareness and a structured, independent, and reliable way of working.
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
Excellent communication skills.
Very good English skills.

Nice To Haves

Experience with release and change management.
German skills.

Responsibilities

Ensure software quality in the development of new features across software modules.
Build and expand test automation for software modules.
Define, implement, execute, and maintain automated tests using existing testing tools and frameworks, including Playwright and Cypress.
Continuously enhance and optimize existing test frameworks.
Develop and implement comprehensive testing strategies.
Design, write, execute, and maintain test plans and test cases.
Perform manual cross-module integration testing.
Identify, track, and report software defects.
Verify and validate defect fixes.
Drive innovation and continuously improve testing processes.
