About The Position

We are looking for a Senior QA Automation Engineer with 6-10 years of experience in test automation. The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on expertise in UI automation, API testing, regression automation, and end-to-end validation using Playwright and Cypress.

Requirements

• 6-10 years of experience in test automation
• Strong hands-on expertise in UI automation, API testing, regression automation, and end-to-end validation using Playwright and Cypress
• Strong hands-on experience in Playwright and Cypress automation
• Good experience in JavaScript / TypeScript for automation scripting
• Experience in UI testing, API testing, regression automation, and integration testing
• Good understanding of POS systems / retail workflows and end-to-end transaction validation
• Familiarity with Git, Jenkins / Azure DevOps, test reporting, and Agile delivery

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automation frameworks and test scripts using Playwright and Cypress
• Execute functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing across POS systems
• Validate integrations between backend services, APIs and downstream applications
• Work closely with developers, product owners, and QA teams to ensure quality across releases
• Analyse defects, support root cause investigation, and improve overall test coverage
• Integrate automation suites into CI/CD pipelines and support release readiness
