About The Position

The Codest is an international technology software company with tech hubs in Poland that delivers global IT solutions and projects. Its expertise includes web development, cloud engineering and DevOps, and quality assurance. The company focuses on scaling technology teams for clients and partners.

This role is part of a fintech project providing loans to funds managed by asset managers. The application is hosted on a standalone AWS account. Some automation is already in place, with additional automation planned. The engineer will contribute to the project's automation and quality assurance efforts.

Requirements

• Advanced English speaking and writing skills for work in an international team.
• At least 4 years of Quality Assurance or Test Automation experience.
• Proficiency in a programming language, preferably Python.
• Experience in performance testing, integration testing, and test automation.
• Experience with software integration and system testing in cloud environments, specifically AWS.
• Experience with CI/CD, including integration with build pipelines.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with Selenium and PyTest.
• Familiarity with Atlassian tools, including Confluence and Jira.
• Knowledge of REST/JSON and/or SOAP/XML web services.
• Understanding of HTML5, CSS3, and contemporary browser technologies.

Responsibilities

• Generate automated test scripts to validate product functionality and performance across development stages.
• Formulate detailed and well-organized test plans and cases.
• Estimate, prioritize, and coordinate testing tasks.
• Identify, document, and track bugs.
• Execute regression testing after bug resolution.
• Establish and implement testing procedures that align with client requirements.
• Monitor quality assurance metrics, including defect densities and open defect counts.
