About The Position
We are looking for a Senior QA Automation Engineer with strong experience in Capital Markets / Financial Services and hands-on expertise in Selenium, Java or Python, SQL, and test automation frameworks. The ideal candidate will have experience testing market data, index/benchmark calculations, pricing, reference data, portfolio or investment applications, along with a strong understanding of automated, integration, API, and end-to-end testing.
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in software testing and QA.
- Strong hands-on experience with Selenium WebDriver and Cucumber.
- Strong programming skills in Java or Python.
- Strong SQL skills and experience with database validation.
- Experience in Capital Markets, Financial Services, or FinTech.
- Experience with API and integration testing across multiple applications.
Nice To Haves
- Knowledge of asset classes such as Equities, Forex/FX, or Options is a plus.
- Exposure to GenAI tools or AI-assisted testing is preferred.
- Experience with Jenkins, AWS, Linux/UNIX, PL/SQL, NoSQL, Karate, or Carina is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain automated testing solutions using Selenium, Cucumber, Java/Python, and related technologies.
- Develop test plans and test cases based on business and technical requirements.
- Perform functional, regression, API, integration, and end-to-end testing.
- Validate financial and market data using SQL, databases, ETL pipelines, and Data Services.
- Test high-volume, low-latency, real-time financial data platforms.
- Work with market data, pricing, reference data, index calculations, and benchmark-related applications.
- Collaborate with Development, Database, Integration, and Support teams to identify and resolve quality issues.
- Support QA strategy, test automation, code reviews, release testing, deployment, and sign-off activities.
- Leverage GenAI and AI-powered tools to improve test design, automation, defect analysis, and root-cause investigation.
- Continuously improve QA processes, automation frameworks, and testing methodologies.
