About The Position

We are seeking a skilled Senior Python Developer to design, build, and maintain scalable data solutions in a cloud-based environment. This role focuses on developing automation tools, building robust ETL pipelines, and supporting data platforms such as data warehouses and data lakes. The ideal candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver data-driven solutions, contribute to architectural decisions, and promote modern technologies including APIs, big data, and analytics. Strong experience in AWS, Python, and infrastructure-as-code tools is essential. We partner with 15 of the top 20 banks globally, and our top 10 banking clients have worked with us for an average of 26 years!. This role is located at a client site in Plano, TX. A hybrid working model is acceptable.

Requirements

7+ years of hands-on experience with Python, especially for automation and data processing
Solid background in building and maintaining ETL pipelines and data ingestion workflows
Experience working with relational and non-relational databases (RDBMS, NoSQL)
Good understanding of data warehousing concepts and data lake architectures
Proficiency in SQL, including writing complex queries and performance tuning
Familiarity with AWS services, particularly CloudFormation and Lambda
Experience with Terraform and GitLab for infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines
Understanding of data modeling and metadata management practices
Exposure to big data and analytics platforms
Comfortable working in a team environment with clear communication and some leadership exposure
General awareness of API-driven architectures and modern data ecosystems
