About The Position

Babcock is seeking a motivated Senior Purchasing Officer to join their team based at Henderson, WA. This role enables efficient, compliant, and value-driven procurement outcomes across assigned business areas while becoming an integral part of a collaborative and innovative team. In this role, you will manage a small team of Purchasing Officers and support the Purchasing Lead by conducting ongoing procurement activities. This is an exciting opportunity for someone ready to step into a key role and mentor others in their team.

Requirements

• Australian Citizen with a Defence security clearance.
• Previous experience in a similar procurement role.
• Exposure to leading a team.
• Experience and understanding in the use of RFI and RFP and other RFX processes.
• Proficient skills in computers in the MS Office Suite including MS Word, Excel, Outlook.
• Eligible to obtain an appropriate level of Commonwealth Personnel Security Clearance, as defined in the AGSVA guidelines.
• Compliance with the US International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and the AU Defence Trade Controls Act 2012 will be assessed.
