About The Position
The Senior Purchasing Manager oversees the acquisition, storage, and distribution of materials and supplies to ensure efficient operations and cost-effective inventory control. This role is responsible for managing vendor relationships, negotiation, forecasting, maintaining optimal stock levels, and coordinating closely with finance, operations, and the product team.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Operations Management, Business Administration, or a related analytical field.
- 10-15 years of relevant experience in supply chain planning, logistics, procurement, or production operations preferred.

Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and oversee purchasing strategies aligned with business objectives.
- Monitor stock levels to avoid shortages and overstock.
- Oversee forecast demand based on sales trends, production schedules, and seasonal variations.
- Use inventory management systems (SAP) to track material usage, receipts, and reorder levels.
- Collaborate with warehouse and logistics teams for timely delivery and storage optimization.
- Collaborate with various departments to align supply chain objectives and execution.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
