Requirements

  • Masters Degree in public health, public administration, health policy, data analytics, economics, or related field.
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in research, program evaluation, data collection, or data analysis within public-sector, healthcare, or grant-funded environments.
  • Experience with public health program evaluation, including development of evaluation plans, logic models, data collection and analysis plans, and reports.
  • Experience with government-funded national program evaluations.
  • Expert in Microsoft Office 365 and Windows, including experience using Excel.
  • This position requires a HHS (Health and Human Services) background check.
  • Applicants will be subject to a government security investigation to obtain clearance prior to start date.

Nice To Haves

  • Professional or educational experience in diabetes or other chronic disease prevention.
  • Experience with using a statistical package (e.g., R, Stata, SAS).
  • Experience using qualitative analysis software (e.g., MAXQDA, ATLAS.ti).
  • Experience with CDC or other federal health agencies.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct and contribute to leadership of evaluations of federal initiatives.
  • Develop evaluation plans, logic models, evaluation questions, data collection and analysis plans, and evaluation reports.
  • Contribute to the development of reports, manuscripts, briefing materials, etc.
  • Provide oversight to data collection and analysis.
