The Role: Advanced Electrified Propulsion Engineering at General Motors is a rapidly developing automotive technology organization. We are creating cutting-edge propulsion and battery systems that provide industry leading performance for future electrified vehicles. Our team is critical to achieving GM’s vision of Zero Emissions, Zero Crashes, and Zero Congestion. In this role you will be responsible for developing new propulsion system architectures. You will lead a cross functional team in the development of Electrified Propulsion System Architectures through the Advanced Technology Work (ATW) development phase in accordance with the Electrification Process of Engineering. After assessing your designs for technology capability, you will continue hardware development in the Balanced Architecture (BA) phase until the program is handed off to execution teams. We are seeking an engineer who works collaboratively with others and is comfortable with ambiguity. The main focus of this role is the Balanced Architecture phase.
