About The Position

AnaVation is seeking a hands-on Senior Proposal Manager to augment their existing Business Development Team. They are looking for a versatile, high-impact team player who can wear multiple hats and contribute across various functions. The ideal candidate is a utility player who thrives in a dynamic environment, seamlessly stepping in to manage proposals, coordinate teams, and support critical business development efforts as needed. The role requires a proven track record of leading successful federal proposals that result in awarded contracts. The Senior Proposal Manager is primarily responsible for managing and writing proposals in support of AnaVation’s growth goals, working closely with senior leadership, capture/business owners, other proposal managers, engineers, proposal coordinator, and operations staff. The Proposal Manager oversees all proposal activities from inception to submission, including managing proposal schedules and deadlines, developing proposal outlines and compliance matrices, writing of proposal content, and monitoring the progress of proposals. The role involves implementation of all necessary proposal procedures and processes and requires an ability to work under pressure and meet challenging deadlines. Requirements

Bachelor's Degree
5+ years’ experience writing winning differentiated Federal IT Services and Engineering proposals
Strong business acumen, with willingness and ability to learn additional skills
Superior organizational skills, with special attention to detail, and time management skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to interface with all levels of management; ability to project a confident leadership image to peers, subordinates and executive management
Ability to prioritize and manage several projects simultaneously: able to be hands-on as well as strategic
Must work well under pressure; demonstrated ability to multi-task, work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
Ability to work occasional nights, weekends as required by proposal schedules
Exceptional skills in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Adobe Suite of Products
Proposal Repository Management experience including Teams and SharePoint
Ability to support on-site proposal responses as required
Active TS Clearance

Nice To Haves

Strong understanding of Software Development, Cybersecurity, and/or DevSecOps subject matter
Experience with leading and supporting complex proposals in the DoD and Intelligence sectors
Experience using Teams and SharePoint
Experience using a CRM Tool such as Salesforce
Experience with video and/or oral proposal presentations
Demonstrated experience using generative AI for research, analysis, content generation and enhancement
APMP certification

Responsibilities

Deliver compliant, professionally produced proposals within defined timeframes
Participate in the development and review of proposal strategies and themes
Direct the creation and review of proposal outlines that will be used as a key document design and control medium
Leads and participates in collaborative sessions to refine win strategy, competitive assessments, and customer pain points or hot buttons
Assist in analyzing solicitation requirements against proposal outlines to ensure compliance and responsiveness to the customer's issues and needs
Develop and conduct all color reviews and follow up for internal evaluation of the technical, management, and overall proposal approaches
Write and edit proposals for continuity, logic, organization, messaging to enhance delivery and AnaVation differentiators
Coordinate and review / edit proposal input from a variety of stakeholders. Specifically working with internal solutions architects, SMEs, and teaming partners
Maintain proposal files, past performance catalogue; create and maintain corporate SharePoint proposal site for each managed opportunity
Serve as an author or proposal section and develop RFI responses
