About The Position

DBA Construction, Inc. is seeking an experienced Senior level Project Manager for Heavy Civil construction contracts. The ideal candidate will be motivated and team-oriented, supporting a project team on a wide variety of construction projects. The Project Manager serves as the primary contact, managing projects from inception to completion, including material procurement, subcontracts, submittals, scheduling, RFIs, cost tracking, budget/cost code reports, change orders, and project closeout.

Nice To Haves

Three (3) to Five (5) years of experience within a heavy civil construction or engineering firm
B.S. Degree or equivalent work experience

Responsibilities

Work with the project superintendent, establishing, maintaining, and managing customer/owner, and subcontractor expectations
Attend meetings including pre-construction, project, and staff meetings
Monitor and track quantities on completed work and prepare monthly billing invoices
Review pay estimates with owner
Verify and approve invoices from subcontractors and suppliers
Prepare and update project schedule
Process change orders
Communicate effectively progress/problems to senior management, field superintendent/foreman, subcontractor, and owner
Manage all aspects related to the execution of the project including safety, quality control and project integrity
Review and provide accurate project costs and forecasting
Manage assigned office and project engineers, including training and development
