We are currently seeking a Sr. Project Manager to support our team in Pittsburgh, PA. In this role, the successful candidate will assist in delivering environmental solutions for both private and government sector clients, particularly on hazardous waste sites. The ideal candidate will lead complex projects and contribute to sustainable solutions.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degrees with 15 + yr experience in environmental remediation and a strong background in earthwork projects
Master’s degrees with 10 yr experience
PhD degrees with 8-yr experience
Experience in environmental remediation projects, with a background in earthwork is preferred
Active PE or PG licensure in good standing is preferred but individuals with the ability to obtain professional licensure will also be considered
Experience managing complex projects and navigating regulations
Proficiency with environmental software and tools
Understanding of geotechnical principles and remediation techniques
Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
A 40-hour OSHA HAZWOPER certification is preferred
A valid driver's license is required
Willingness to travel

Nice To Haves

Experience in proposal development (scope, schedule, budget)
Demonstrated ability to manage projects safely and efficiently
Demonstrated business development and client management experience desired
Experience with earthwork projects a plus, including understanding of waste management, disposal, and fill requirements

Responsibilities

Lead and manage remediation projects
Develop and implement remedial action plans
Oversee earthwork components
Conduct site assessments and field activities
Ensure regulatory compliance
Prepare technical reports
Mentor junior staff
Interact with clients and agencies
Stay updated on industry best practices
Lead and manage environmental remediation projects, ensuring compliance with regulatory programs including Pennsylvania’s Land Recycling and Environmental Remediation Act (Act 2), Storage Tank Program, Hazardous Sites Cleanup Act, CERCLA, RCRA, and others
Support proposal efforts across a wide-range of scopes and markets
Manage projects from inception to completion with regulatory compliance and ensuring timely, on-budget execution and maintaining project controls throughout
Work with and lead a project team consisting of technicians, scientists, and engineers to meet project objectives and maintain client satisfaction
Prepare remedial work plans and remedial investigation reports, cleanup plans, and final project reports
Manage a variety of subcontractors, ensuring quality and delivery
