Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 7+ years in construction management, architecture or similar field
  • Experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience considered.
  • Excellent skills in P6 scheduling software
  • Excellent computer skills Microsoft Office, Bluebeam, On Center OST, MS Project, and HCSS software.
  • High energy level and the ability to inspire and motivate a team.
  • Understands and abides by all government processes and regulations.
  • Strong problem solving, risk management, organization, and communication skills.
  • Strong understanding of construction safety and OSHA requirements.
  • Strong understanding of construction methods, critical path method scheduling, and interpretation of plans and specifications.
  • Competent in required job skills and knowledge; keeps abreast of current developments; requires minimal supervision; displays understanding of how job relates to others.
  • Exhibits confidence in self and others; inspires and motivates others to perform well; effectively influences actions and opinions of others; accepts feedback from others; gives appropriate recognition to others.

  • Review/approve project team on-site setup, including facilities layout, selection of forming systems and equipment.
  • Monitor receipt of subcontractor bonds and periodically review status of subcontractor management, change order processing and shop drawings.
  • Become thoroughly knowledgeable of projected costs, contingent liabilities, and contingent savings/increased profits.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with owner, design team and subcontractors while maximizing Haydon’s visibility in surrounding community.
  • Thorough knowledge of project processes and how each supports the successful completion of a project.
