About The Position

Lead multidisciplinary teams through all phases of project delivery—feasibility, planning, development, execution, and close-out. Accountable for the overall safety, cost, schedule, and quality results of the scope assigned. Manage, monitor, and influence progress to meet deliverable expectations through coordination of resources in a matrix service delivery model where individuals report only indirectly. Review schedules, cost reports, and work to ensure completion to meet the needs of the associated interdependent requirements from the balance of the Program. Ensure project scope aligns with all regulatory, environmental, health and safety requirements through effective management and coordination of internal functional group resources. Maintain our path to zero safety target by ensuring safety in design and selecting contractors with safety values that align with Enbridge.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or diploma or certification from a recognized university or college.
  • 6 years of related experience in one or more of the following areas: pipeline, gas compression, with proven experience in project management.
  • Note without a degree, you will require 9 years.
  • High degree of knowledge of the hazards and safety precautions in the design and operations of facilities, and pipelines.
  • Proven understanding of all pipeline facility aspects; mechanical, civil, electrical & instrumentation, automation & controls and knowledge and experience in gas pipeline construction or operations and maintenance is required.
  • Role requires a valid driver’s license, which will be verified with a motor vehicle check prior to hire.

Nice To Haves

  • Professional Engineering designation and / or Project Management certification (PMI) is an asset.
