About The Position

Spatial Business Systems (SBS), an Enverus company, is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead the delivery of software implementation solutions for utility, telecommunications, and government clients. Solutions include AutoCAD-based design and integrations with ERP, EAM, and GIS applications. The role manages multiple medium-to-large projects and cross-functional teams, ensuring delivery on time, within budget, and to client satisfaction.

The Senior Project Manager oversees projects throughout the lifecycle, from planning and estimation through requirements gathering, solution architecture, design, development, testing, risk management, change control, and delivery. The position serves as a central contact between business and technical teams, maintains client and stakeholder relationships, supports SOW creation and resource planning, and identifies opportunities to expand client portfolios. The role may grow into broader leadership responsibilities, including mentoring and leading other project management resources.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of professional services project management experience, focused on system integrations, data solutions, or IT strategy.
• Effective communication skills and experience managing client expectations using escalation and mitigation tactics.
• Proven ability to guide technical and functional teams to successful project delivery.
• Experience managing projects using MS Project and proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
• Excellent communication and planning skills, with a history of developing effective relationships with business teams, technical staff, and executive management.
• Proven ability to manage conflict positively and negotiate project scope effectively.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, often ambiguous, event-driven environment.
• Strong organizational skills and a proactive, self-starting mindset.
• Ability to create a team vision and motivate teams to achieve common goals.

Responsibilities

• Lead development and delivery of software implementation solutions across technologies, including system integrations, implementations, data management, and IT strategy.
• Manage all aspects of project delivery throughout the lifecycle, including effort estimation, solution architecture, requirements gathering, design, development, testing, risk management, change control, and overall delivery.
• Act as the central point of contact between business and technical teams and lead multiple work streams against project plans.
• Manage and monitor project schedules, costs, and teams to ensure on-time, within-budget delivery and internal reporting.
• Build and maintain client and stakeholder relationships, proactively managing expectations, scope, and priorities.
• Identify and mitigate project risks and ensure timely resolution.
• Support statement of work creation, resource planning, and client presentations for assigned projects.
• Identify opportunities to grow client portfolios and support business development.
• Mentor and lead other project management resources to support organizational excellence.
