Senior Project Manager
About The Position
SLS Consultants is a real estate development and construction consulting firm working in the data center, advanced manufacturing, life science, and healthcare sectors. The Senior Project Manager will manage projects in the data center industry from conception through completion, overseeing execution to support delivery on time, within budget, and to high standards of quality, safety, and performance. The role coordinates stakeholders, schedules, budgets, procurement, documentation, and project risks in a fast-paced environment, while supporting efficient and cost-effective solutions.
Requirements
- At least 6 years of experience in real estate development, construction, or design.
- Proficiency in project management tools, project accounting, and construction drawings.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong project management and leadership skills, including the ability to coordinate multiple stakeholders, manage schedules and budgets, mitigate risks, and deliver efficient, cost-effective solutions.
Nice To Haves
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Business Management, or a related area; equivalent experience will be considered.
- Experience in data centers, semiconductors, or healthcare.
Responsibilities
- Monitor project progress and identify schedule, cost, quality, and operational risks.
- Review contractor schedules, RFIs, submittals, change orders, and progress reports for compliance with project requirements.
- Participate in construction and coordination meetings and provide updates to stakeholders and leadership teams.
- Track procurement activities and long-lead equipment to support project milestones and critical path requirements.
- Assist in managing project documentation, meeting minutes, action items, and reporting deliverables.
- Ensure compliance with project safety standards, quality requirements, and client expectations.
- Support continuous improvement of project management processes, procedures, and best practices.
