About The Position

Join our team as a Senior Project Manager and support a federal transportation research center by leading a busy publications and communications program. You will oversee planning, staffing, and delivery of technical publications, marketing materials, and multimedia products from concept to final release, ensure on-time, on-budget performance across a diverse portfolio of projects. Position is contingent upon contract award.

Requirements

Master's degree, OR Bachelor's degree with relevant experience, in Business, Marketing/Communications, or a related technical discipline
10+ years of relevant professional experience, including leadership of multidisciplinary teams and management of marketing/communications programs
Demonstrated experience supervising publication of technical information across a wide range of formats and lengths

Nice To Haves

Experience in the highway or surface transportation sector
PMP or equivalent project management certification
Prior experience managing a Federal government contract or task order

Responsibilities

Lead end-to-end project management for a high-volume research communications and publications program
Direct coordination with government stakeholders, technical representatives, and task managers
Oversee production of materials ranging from one-page flyers to 300+ page technical reports, presentations, and video/social content
Manage staffing, scheduling, budget, risk, and performance metrics across multiple concurrent projects
Ensure staff maintain accurate, up-to-date project tracking and status reporting
Supervise a multidisciplinary team of writers, editors, designers, and multimedia specialists
Drive continuous improvement in workflow, quality control, and delivery timeliness
