Senior Project Manager
About The Position
Praetorian Power Protection, the leader in NETA testing and staff augmentation to the mission critical industry, has partnered with one of our General Contractor client. This GC is very strong and in growth mode. Due to significant growth, they are looking for a Senior Project Manager to join their Saint Louis team. As a Sr Project Manager, you will be someone who thrives on the complexity of industrial construction. You aren’t just managing a checklist; you are the master of the project lifecycle. You will drive large-scale projects (manufacturing, cold storage, logistics) from the very first client interaction in preconstruction all the way through to final closeout. You will serve as the primary relationship builder with their clients while acting as a mentor to the younger project managers. Requirements
- 10–12+ years of construction project management experience.
- Proven experience with Industrial Construction (Manufacturing, F&B, Cold Storage, etc.).
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or Architecture.
- Proficiency in Primavera P6/MS Project and Procore (or similar).
- A track record of managing budgets >$10M.
Responsibilities
- Lead design-build projects from concept and preconstruction to successful turnover.
- Manage internal teams, subcontractors, and design partners, ensuring everyone is aligned on schedule and safety.
- Manage budgets over $10M, handling forecasting, buyouts, and change management with financial precision.
- Serve as the main point of contact for clients, turning one-off projects into long-term partnerships.
- Use your experience to guide, train, and elevate less experienced PMs and engineers.
