About The Position

Our Atlanta AECOM Buildings + Places team seeks a Technically Oriented, Client Facing, Senior Project Manager to manage our design and construction administration projects for our vertical practice. This role will focus on projects with our Federal clients. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following: Manage client relationship, addressing concerns and ensuring satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle. Primary liaison between AECOM and client interface. Manage multi-discipline design teams for a variety of moderately complex projects for clients with a regional geographic footprint. Manage all phases of projects from initiation to close out, ensuring adherence to scope, schedule, and budget. Position has significant profit/loss responsibility for assigned project. Develop and maintain project plans, including work breakdown structures, timelines, and resource allocation. Identifies and mitigates project risks, developing contingency plans as necessary. Coordinate with multi-discipline teams to ensure project deliverables meet quality standards and client expectations. Conduct regular project status meetings and prepares reports for stakeholders and upper management. Enforce company and project policies.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Architecture or Engineering plus 10 years of relevant experience (or demonstrated equivalency of education and/or experience) including 2 years of leadership experience
  • Registered Architect or Professional Engineer
  • US Citizenship is required
