Senior Project Manager
About The Position
Praetorian Power Protection, a leader in NETA testing and staff augmentation for the mission-critical industry, is partnering with a growing General Contractor client. This client is seeking a Senior Project Manager to join their Philadelphia team. The ideal candidate thrives on the complexity of industrial construction, mastering the entire project lifecycle from preconstruction to closeout. This role involves leading large-scale projects (manufacturing, cold storage, logistics), serving as the primary client relationship manager, and mentoring junior project managers. We are looking for a design-build expert who can balance technical demands with strong leadership.
Requirements
- 10–12+ years of construction project management experience.
- Proven experience with Industrial Construction (Manufacturing, F&B, Cold Storage, etc.).
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or Architecture.
- Proficiency in Primavera P6/MS Project and Procore (or similar).
- A track record of managing budgets >$10M.
Responsibilities
- Lead design-build projects from concept and preconstruction to successful turnover.
- Manage internal teams, subcontractors, and design partners, ensuring alignment on schedule and safety.
- Manage budgets over $10M, including forecasting, buyouts, and change management.
- Serve as the main point of contact for clients, fostering long-term partnerships.
- Guide, train, and elevate less experienced PMs and engineers.
