About The Position
Praetorian Power Protection, a leader in NETA testing and staff augmentation for the mission-critical industry, is partnering with a growing General Contractor client. This client is seeking a Senior Project Manager to join their Philadelphia team, specifically looking for an individual who thrives on the complexity of industrial construction. The role involves managing the entire project lifecycle for large-scale industrial projects (manufacturing, cold storage, logistics) from preconstruction through final closeout. The Senior Project Manager will be the primary client relationship builder and a mentor to junior project managers, requiring expertise in design-build, balancing technical demands with strong leadership.
Requirements
- 10–12+ years of construction project management experience.
- Proven experience with Industrial Construction (Manufacturing, F&B, Cold Storage, etc.).
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or Architecture.
- Proficiency in Primavera P6/MS Project and Procore (or similar).
- A track record of managing budgets >$10M.
Responsibilities
- Lead design-build projects from concept and preconstruction to successful turnover.
- Manage internal teams, subcontractors, and design partners, ensuring alignment on schedule and safety.
- Manage budgets over $10M, handling forecasting, buyouts, and change management.
- Serve as the main point of contact for clients, fostering long-term partnerships.
- Guide, train, and elevate less experienced PMs and engineers.
