About The Position

Pond is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager (Engineer or Architect) to join its Federal group. The role calls for a self-starting, driven leader who strengthens the team and embraces a client-first culture. The successful candidate will manage complex projects, coordinate multidisciplinary project teams, oversee sub-consultants, and maintain strong client relationships. The position focuses on federal facilities projects and requires an understanding of design requirements for DoD and non-DoD agencies; experience supporting Army projects is preferred.

Requirements

• Accredited bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Architecture.
• 10 or more years of experience within an architecture, engineering, or construction organization.
• 10 or more years of project management experience, including leading multidisciplinary teams and managing complex projects.
• Thorough knowledge of facilities design and construction, contract management, project delivery, and client relationship management.
• Demonstrated experience with federal contracting, procurement processes, and procedures.
• Proficiency in MS Office, MS Project, and/or other relevant software.
• Ability to travel as needed, including internationally if required, with a passport or other official documentation.
• Occasional attendance at meetings and off-site events; reliable transportation, a valid driver’s license, and proof of insurance are required.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Common Access Card (CAC); access to federal installations may require additional security credentials and the ability to obtain a security clearance.

Nice To Haves

• Federal client experience is preferred.
• Army project experience is strongly preferred.
• Professional registration as a PE or RA is strongly preferred.
