Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 8-10 years of project management experience in construction or program management.
  • Proven experience directly managing, developing, and mentoring project staff.
  • Demonstrated ability to support operational functions such as staffing, resource planning, and process improvement.
  • Proficiency with project management and scheduling software (e.g., Procore, MS Project, Primavera P6).
  • Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Experience with public sector or government clients preferred.

Nice To Haves

  • PMP certification preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the full project lifecycle for multiple concurrent program and construction management projects, from planning and design through construction and closeout.
  • Develop, mentor, and manage the performance of project staff, providing regular coaching, feedback, and professional development support.
  • Oversee project budgets, schedules, staffing plans, and resource allocation to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring proactive communication, responsiveness, and overall client satisfaction.
  • Assist leadership with operational needs of the department or office, including workload and staffing planning, process improvement, and internal reporting.
  • Review design and construction documents to ensure quality standards, budget alignment, and schedule compliance.
  • Support proposal development, interview preparation, and other business development activities as needed.
  • Identify project and operational risks and develop and implement mitigation strategies.
  • Ensure project teams comply with contract requirements, safety standards, and company policies and procedures.
  • Foster a collaborative, high-performing team culture consistent with company values.
