About The Position

AtkinsRéalis is seeking a Senior Project Manager to join our team in Atlanta, GA. This role leads the project team in executing all phases of the project lifecycle, independently developing and managing project scope, schedule, and budget. The Senior Project Manager will develop and implement comprehensive Project Management Plans, manage all financial aspects of the project, and approve subconsultant and vendor invoices. This role proactively identifies and manages budget variances and communicates financial performance to senior management. The Senior Project Manager serves as the primary point of contact for the client, leads contract negotiations, and represents the firm and client at public hearings and regulatory meetings. This position leads and directs multi-disciplinary project teams, mentors Project Managers and Associate PMs, and identifies new business opportunities and participates in proposals.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree is required.
  • 10+ years professional experience.
  • 5-8 years of direct project management experience.
  • PMP certification or equivalent is required or must be obtained within one year of appointment.
