Requirements

• Minimum 10 to 15 years of experience in retail / commercial projects.
• Knowledge of both REVIT & ACAD software and proficiency in both.
• Knowledge of Acrobat software and Blue Beam.
• Strong knowledge of wood construction and detailing, as well as concrete and steel detailing.
• Ability to provide architectural detailing of all types of buildings.
• Knowledge/experience in the construction of multi-story buildings, including parking structures, subterranean structures, and deck parking.
• Strong communication skills, addressing complex project questions from Clients, contractors, and building officials.
• Strong knowledge of current codes and regulations, and ability to decipher code-related questions/issues.

Responsibilities

• Lead project teams and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Assemble project budgets, write proposals, manage project budgets, contracts, consultant agreements, project billing, and scheduling of project deadlines.
• Address project-related construction issues, RFI's, review shop drawings, and perform site observations and punch walks.
• Submit plans to governing municipalities, address and communicate with plan check engineers, planners, expediters, and Construction Managers.
• Present code arguments in a clear and concise manner.
• Manage client accounts and coordinate marketing for future projects.
