About The Position

The vacant Senior Technical Project Manager role will report to the Leader, Cloud, Centre of Excellence. This role serves as the delivery quarterback for cloud engineering initiatives, driving execution across Agile delivery, cloud platform operations, Release Management and DevOps/SRE practices. The role ensures platform reliability, strong and timely delivery execution, and alignment between Cloud Operations engineers and product/business stakeholders. Operating across cloud operations, architecture, engineering and delivery pipelines—translating business priorities into executable technical delivery.

Requirements

  • 6+ years of experience in cloud infrastructure or cloud operations/ engineering.
  • Strong knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) and their native security and identity management (IAM) capabilities
  • Experience leading delivery in a fast-paced engineering and security first environment.
  • Strong understanding of distributed systems and cloud architectures
  • Experience with container orchestration systems like Kubernetes.
  • Experience working on cloud migrations and running cloud production systems.
  • Familiarity with DevOps practices and modern CI/CD pipelines
  • Strong communications, time management and team building skills, able to effectively communicate with stakeholders,
  • Strong sense of personal responsibility and accountability for delivering high quality work.
  • Proactive “can-do” approach, resolve bottlenecks and manage program and squad delivery timelines.
  • Experience with high-scale systems or regulated environments
  • Commitment to invest in learning, development and upskilling to keep pace with technology and business needs.
  • Eligibility to work for Interac Corp. in Canada in a full-time capacity.

Responsibilities

  • Quarterbacking delivery processes including managing Kanban boards, backlog management, planning, daily stand-ups, retrospectives, and delivery tracking to ensure continuous improvement and predictable execution.
  • Drive end-to-end delivery of cloud operations and engineering initiatives across AWS/Azure environments, including infrastructure modernization, automation, observability, reliability engineering, and platform improvements.
  • Partnering with architects, application teams, security, and product teams to build actionable technical deliverable plans for Cloud Operations engineers with trackable dates, dependency graphs, and critical paths.
  • Coordinate day-to-day execution across operations and engineering teams to ensure delivery timelines, operational readiness, and platform stability are continuously maintained.
  • Monitor and coordinate CI/CD pipeline activities, infrastructure deployments, service improvements, and production readiness activities, including driving the Onboarding process to support multiple product workloads to Cloud Operations.
  • Improving/enhancing build/release workflows and environment consistency, and monitoring Cloud Assets and discovery/mappings.
  • Support Cloud Operations initiatives including reliability, resiliency, observability, automation, incident reduction, and cloud cost optimization (FinOps).
  • Coordinate incident response, escalation, and postmortems with engineering teams
  • Track and improve Cloud metrics (uptime, latency, error rates, saturation)
