The Division of Sidewalk & Inspection Management’s Citywide Concrete Unit (CWC) supports the agency’s goal to enhance, rehabilitate, and maintain the City’s infrastructure by acting as the agency’s primary construction unit. We employ dedicated engineers, managers, support staff, laborers and adopt cost-savings and efficiency, while maintaining the highest standards of excellence and service to safety and quality. Under direction of the Director/Chief Engineer of CWC, the selected candidate will serve as one of the engineering team leads with a focus on Bus Stop Accessibility and Bus Priority Projects. The selected candidate will supervise, direct, and assign projects to a team of Assistant Civil Engineers, Project Mangers, and Construction Project Managers who manage the construction of multiple Street Improvement Projects and over 2000 citywide upgrades of pedestrian ramps annually to comply with ADA specifications.
