About The Position

We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead large-scale commercial construction projects from preconstruction through project closeout. The Senior Project Manager will oversee project planning, budgeting, scheduling, procurement, risk management, contract administration, and client relationships while providing leadership and mentorship to project teams. This role will also support business development initiatives and contribute to operational excellence across multiple projects.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of commercial construction experience.
  • Minimum 5 years of independently managing commercial construction projects.
  • Proven experience leading large, complex, multi-phase, or high-risk construction projects.
  • Strong leadership, communication, negotiation, and decision-making skills.
  • Proven ability to mentor project teams and support business development activities.
  • Strong knowledge of construction methods, project scheduling, contracts, budgeting and cost control, project forecasting, and project controls.

Responsibilities

  • Lead all phases of complex commercial construction projects from preconstruction through completion.
  • Develop and manage project budgets, schedules, forecasts, and cost controls.
  • Identify and resolve scope gaps, scheduling conflicts, and contract discrepancies.
  • Coordinate with owners, architects, engineers, subcontractors, vendors, and internal teams.
  • Oversee procurement, subcontractor buyouts, vendor negotiations, and material purchasing.
  • Review and approve RFIs, submittmits, shop drawings, change orders, owner billings, and subcontractor invoices.
  • Monitor project financial performance, cost coding, forecasting, and project controls.
  • Manage project closeout, including punch lists, warranties, O&M manuals, and as-built documentation.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop Project Managers, Assistant Project Managers, and Project Coordinators.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations, quality standards, and contractual requirements.
  • Support business development, client presentations, proposal interviews, and pursuit strategies.
  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with clients, design teams, subcontractors, and industry partners.
  • Contribute to strategic planning, operational improvements, and company initiatives.
