Senior Project Manager- Transit Rail
About The Position
AECOM is seeking a highly talented, self-driven and motivated Senior Project Manager- Transit Rail to be based in the NY NJ Metro area working in the NY Metro Transit Rail Project and Design Management group. This role involves performing management responsibilities on design of transit rail projects in the NY Metro area, managing a multi-discipline design team to produce high quality design deliverables, meet schedules and stay within project budgets. The position is responsible for administering the design phase of the project from budgeting/schedule stage through procurement and coordinating construction phase services for both design-build and design-bid-build projects. The Senior Project Manager will coordinate closely with clients, contractors and project partners on project types including Design-Build, Development of Bridging Documents and Design-Bid-Build. Responsibilities also include responding to client issued RFQ and RFPs, providing guidance to marketing for Transit Rail pursuits, acting as pursuit manager on proposals for NY Metro Transit Rail clients, and assisting with strategy on pursuits and overall client approach.
Requirements
- BA/BS + 10 years of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education, including 2 years of leadership
- Must have Transit Experience
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills
Nice To Haves
- 15 Years of Experience with NY metro rail agencies including MTA, PA/NY/NJ and NJ Transit
- 10 Years of Experience in Design Project Management Role
