VIATechnik is looking for a Senior Project Manager to lead multiple, high-impact software development projects from early planning through deployment. This is a remote role within the United States, requiring candidates to be based in the Eastern or Central time zones and possess US work authorization. This is not a traditional project management role, but rather a delivery leadership opportunity for someone who wants ownership, impact, and variety across complex software initiatives. VIATechnik is the global leader in Virtual Design and Construction, with over 400 digital experts worldwide, offering services in VDC, BIM, Virtual & Augmented Reality, Digital Twins, and Enterprise Software Application Development. The company works on large-scale projects for clients like Apple, Virgin Hyperloop One, and various airports. The team consists of VDC professionals, technologists, architects, and engineers who are problem-solvers and eager to learn.

  • Has led multiple complex software development projects in fast-moving environments
  • Is comfortable operating without rigid playbooks, tailoring approach based on team, product, and context

Responsibilities

  • Delivering multiple software projects end-to-end-on time, on scope, and aligned to real business outcomes
  • Creating clarity where there is ambiguity, translating goals into executable plans, milestones, and priorities
  • Building trust with engineers and stakeholders through clear communication, sound judgment, and follow-through
  • Adapting quickly to change-shifting priorities, evolving requirements, new technologies-without losing momentum
  • Owning outcomes, not just managing tasks-stepping into details when needed and leading at a higher level when required
  • Improving how delivery works, introducing smarter planning, better visibility, and pragmatic process improvements
  • Leveraging modern tools, automation, and AI to improve forecasting, reporting, and decision-making across projects
