About The Position

Muller is a full-service Site Work Contractor based in Northern Virginia. Our unique technology and systems-driven approach has led us to become a leading provider of sustainable civil construction services throughout Maryland, Virginia, and DC. The Senior Project Manager will be responsible for getting projects started (submittals, Miss Utility, Safety Paperwork), managing all aspects of the project (creating/tracking Change Order's, problem solving with the superintendent and client), working closely with any subcontractors, monthly billing, and project closeout. This role also involves ordering required materials, working closely with the estimator to ensure accuracy, tracking production for assigned projects, and working with foreman and superintendent daily to ensure production goals are met. The Senior Project Manager will also track production on the production template in excel and perform take-offs and put together proposals for Change Orders.

Requirements

  • At least 5+ years experience as an APM and/or PM within turnkey site development
  • Ability to read civil plans and knowledge of different types of site work
  • Strong admin skills with reviewing cover sheets, costing sheets, AIA, and tracking change orders
  • Experience communicating with clients and/or General Contractor on projects
  • Microsoft Office

Responsibilities

  • Scheduling and managing crews
  • Working with the site superintendent
  • Communicating with the client to ensure jobs are completed correctly and efficiently
  • Getting projects started (submittals, Miss Utility, Safety Paperwork)
  • Managing all aspects of the project (creating/tracking Change Orders, problem solving with the superintendent and client)

  • Working closely with the estimator to make sure that the correct items are ordered and to ensure nothing extra is added or missing
  • Tracking production for their assigned projects

  • Tracking the production on the production template in excel
  • Performing take offs and putting together a proposal for Change Orders
