About The Position

The Senior Project Manager, Secure Cloud Platforms will drive USSF growth across Secure Cloud Platforms and AFS by shaping acquisition strategies, pursuing new opportunities, and enabling domain expansion. They will lead development of acquisition strategies for secure cloud engagements to expand the USSF portfolio, accelerate mission delivery, and provide strategic recommendations to senior AFS leadership. This individual will build and maintain strong relationships with DAF/USSF mission partners, industry, and internal leaders.

Requirements

  • Minimum Secret clearance with eligibility for TS/SCI with CI Poly.
  • Experience with project management in federal contracting space.
  • Familiarity with cloud computing fundamentals.
  • Familiarity with federal acquisition processes, contract types and structures, and budget programming cycles and timelines.
  • Experience managing mid-level and junior business and IT personnel.
  • Experience with agile software development lifecycle.

  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
  • Strong technical aptitude, creativity, communication skills, and cross-group collaboration skills.
  • Passion for finding process and product solutions for hard problems at scale and building partnerships to operationalize said solutions in new, undefined spaces.

Responsibilities

  • Shape and execute follow‑on and on‑contract growth strategies.
  • Build sales pipeline and outyear planning and manage existing established processes and tools such as Salesforce.
  • Lead shaping and capture efforts across the customer domain. Partner with cross‑functional teams to develop business cases, financial models, and staffing strategies that support growth.
  • Coordinate with SMEs across Modern Engineering and other capability areas (AI & Data, Platforms, Mission, Cyber) to broaden solution options.
  • Collaborate with Account Leadership and BD/Growth teams across Defense & Intelligence (D&I) account verticals.
  • Mobilize and train team members to support growth activities (e.g., shaping, white papers, ROMs, RFI/RFP responses).
  • Support development of artifacts across the sales lifecycle including briefings, white papers and proposals.
  • Track relevant conferences, forums, and BD activities to advance domain growth goals.
  • Provide Program Management leadership and oversight over multiple USSF projects, delivering cross-project visibility, control, and stakeholder alignment.
  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships; serve as the primary interface with senior stakeholders. Coordinate with DAF and USSF mission owners and industry partners to maximize opportunities for mission success.
  • Oversee performance across all projects within the domain, identifying cross project risks, dependencies, and systemic issues; work with project managers to develop mitigations and solutions.
  • Monitor key indicators—including schedule, staffing, financial health, and delivery performance—and report trends proactively. Escalates risks and issues to leadership for awareness and support.
  • Serve as the primary reporting conduit to AFS Leadership, synthesizing program level insights.
  • Provide functional management and leadership to foster professional development for AFS project managers and their teams. Practice a servant-leadership model that prioritizes personnel growth, well-being, team development, and delivery excellence.
  • Coordinate with project managers and other AFS leadership on staffing decisions for the USSF projects.
